A long path of commitment
Dr. Sayed Waheedullah Sadat launched the institution by establishing a small center known as the Dr. Sadat Development Center. The center focused on offering short-term courses aimed at enhancing skills and empowering women and girls in Afghanistan.
In 2021, the center was renamed the Afghan Women’s Online Educational Academy and expanded its activities by offering additional short-term training programs for girls and women in Afghanistan. During this phase, the academy succeeded in attracting a substantial number of students and individuals interested in online learning, thereby creating an important platform for their educational advancement.
In 2022, in response to the broader educational and academic needs in Afghanistan, Dr. Sadat expanded the academy and founded the Afghan Girls’ Online Medical University. With its focus on providing medical education to Afghan girls, the university created a new pathway for their higher education and became one of the first online medical universities dedicated exclusively to girls in Afghanistan. existence in this spot, which was created for the bliss of souls like mine.
In 2023, in light of the achievements gained and the growing needs and demands of the community, Dr. Sadat expanded both the university and the academy, ultimately founding the International Online Educational, Academic, Research, and Media Complex for Afghan Girls.
This transformation not only involved a significant expansion of activities but also included renaming initiatives: the Online Medical University for Afghan Girls was renamed the Afghan Girls’ Online University, and the Afghan Women’s Online Educational Academy became the Afghan Girls’ Online Academy.
