The Afghanistan Girls International Online Educational, Academic, Research, and Media Complex (AGIOEARMC) is a leading online institution providing free education for Afghan girls deprived of learning due to social, cultural, or political barriers. Founded in 2020 by Dr. Sayed Wahidullah Sadat as the Sadat Growth Centre, it evolved into the Afghanistan Women Online Educational Academy in 2021, then the Afghanistan Girls Online Medical University in 2022, and finally AGIOEARMC in 2023, expanding its academic and developmental programs.
In 2020, Dr. Sayed Wahidullah Sadat founded this Complex by establishing a small center called Sadat Growth Centre. The center focused on short term courses aimed at enhancing skills and empowering Afghanistan girls.
In 2021, the Growth Center was renamed to Afghanistan Women Online Educational Academy and expanded its activities in the field of short term training for Afghanistan girls and women. At this stage, the Academy succeeded in attracting the attention of many students and education enthusiasts, creating an important platform for their educational development.
In 2022, in response to the broader educational and academic needs in Afghanistan, Dr. Sadat expanded the Academy and established the Afghanistan Girls Online Medical University. With a focus on medical education for Afghanistan girls, this university opened a new path for their higher education and became one of the first online universities dedicated exclusively to girls in Afghanistan.
In 2023, following the achievements and the growing needs and demands of society, Dr. Sadat expanded both the University and the Academy, ultimately founding the Afghanistan Girls International Online Educational, Academic, Research, and Media Complex (AGIOEARMC).
This change not only broadened the scope of activities but also included the renaming of the Afghanistan Girls’ Online Medical University to the Afghanistan Girls International Online University, and the Afghanistan Women Online Educational Academy to the Afghanistan Girls International Online Academy.
